Visit DC’s African American Heritage Trails During Black History Month

/

It’s Black History Month! As you continue to practice social distancing remember to get out for some fresh air and check out Cultural Tourism DC’s Neighborhood Heritage Trails–the official walking trails of Washington, DC. These self-guided walking tours provide a glimpse into the rich diversity of DC’s neighborhoods, past and present. Each trail offers a one- to two-mile trek punctuated by large poster-sized markers that combine stories, historic photographs and maps to bring DC history and culture to life. There are 17 heritage trails throughout the city to choose from. Pick one, bundle up and get out there on the trails!
